My journey began in 2008, when I completed my education at Germany’s oldest and historically most important watchmaking school. This important experience was the foundation for my further path in the world of watchmaking.

After my education, I worked with a small, dedicated team in Zurich to create individual pieces according to customer requirements. I worked on challenging projects for royal families, developed prototypes for the industry and produced selected small series.

My passion for the craft paved the way for me to pass on my knowledge as a teacher and instructor at the watchmaking school and inspire the next generation of watchmakers. After valuable experiences in technology and process development, I found my way back to craftsmanship. In Munich, where I worked for many years at Patek Philippe, I gained profound insights into watchmaking at the highest level.

This experience ultimately inspired me to create my first major complication under the HERZWERK brand. Today, I combine traditional techniques with modern innovation to create exceptional timepieces – true works of art, crafted from the heart.
